| Terms for opening medical complexes |
| HE the Minister of Public Health Abdullah bin Khalid al-Qahtani yesterday issued a decision to amend the conditions for opening a medical complex (General and Specialist). The decision provides that an official licence from the competent authority of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) is a must for their opening. The complex’s medical director should be a specialised physician licensed to practise the profession by the competent authorities of the SCH. |

| French honour for top security official |
| The Republic of France has awarded the Legion of Honour with a Knight degree to Qatar’s Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence and Security, Brigadier General HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser bin Jassim al-Thani. He received the award from French ambassador in Doha Jean-Christophe Possel duringa special ceremony at the embassy in Doha yesterday.
