      • Missy Brace Vimislik It doesn't happen when I use Mozilla Firefox, but I wish they'd fix the problem with Explorer. You can download Firefox for free.

      • Eileen Jones Gauthier This just started happening for me. It is enough to make you toss your laptop across the room. Can't look more than maybe 5 posts! Making FB almost unusable for me. This was posted 2/1. Not fixed yet, can't put up with it much longer.

        As a programmer, I would bet that there was a bad merge in the VCS system that overwrote the previous change. I believe it is related to when the ads in the right column load and refresh.

      • Cindy Corum NEVER has anything driven me crazier than this problem w/ FB jumping back up to the top. I want to throw my computer across the room. So it's a good thing there are no FB employees here w/ me. FIX THIS PROBLEM. If you can come up w/ such a complicated mess as the timeline, you surely have the ways to fix this.

      • Ciaran 'House' Glennon try using google chrome. i use chrome and have never had any scrolling problems. my mom on the other hand is an internet explorer user and goes crazy when her pages automatically scrolls to top. just switched her to chrome, fingers crossed. tbh you should all make the switch

      • Robert Laper Curious how many people here are using AOL as their connection with Facebook. I have the same scrolling problem on another site I use daily and just for the hell of it, I decided to just use Windows Explorer...no scrolling problems!!

      • Andrew Dolby I just uploaded Firefox & it fixed all of my problems "timeline resetting, picture view freezing & videos not uploading" ... Internob Exploder is rubbish ... I've used it for years but never again ... Firefox is a breath of fresh air :))

      • Cindy Corum All these suggestions to switch to this or that browser... WHY should WE have to fix this problem ourselves by switching to another browser???? It's FB's problem--THEY should be the ones to have to fix the problem. I am SO over it.

      • Andrew Dolby ‎@Cindy .. we have to keep up with what is required to use the net .. very soon if you haven't upgraded to IE9 you won't be able to use Youtube ... changing my browser to Firefox fixed many problems I had & it's also faster than IE ... just a suggestion but it's easier than putting up with systems that won't work with IE :))

        I'm using Firefox 11.0 and having the exact same problem. It has been going on for weeks - long enough that even Google+ is starting to look good to me. G+ may be lame, and none of my friends are on it, but at least they don't have CONSTANT... problems with the most basic of functionality.

        Thank you, Facebook, for cramming the timeline down our throats, even though you had not worked out the bugs, and even though so many of your users did NOT want it. Yeah, yeah, you don't need to worry about that because everyone is on Facebook, right? Well everyone was on AOL and MySpace too, at one point. Learn from history, or perish.        See More
